48 hour pay what you can & the winds of change

dandelion - 48 hour pay what you canChange is in the wind here at Molly Gordon. You may have noticed a shift in emphasis in my writing as I move away from teaching the tools and techniques of successful self-employment to an exploration of the underlying principles that create our human experience.

In a sense, this is nothing new. Even when teaching the nuts and bolts of business, I’ve helped my clients and students work with the way belief and perception shape what is possible. I’ve brought in transformative teachings from diverse traditions including The Work of Byron Katie and Integral Theory.

It’s always been about waking up in one fashion or another.

And now I want to work even closer to the bone.

On not tossing out the baby with the bathwater

I don’t want my shift in focus to mean people can’t benefit from the work I’ve been doing.

Over the past ten years I’ve developed and refined several programs to make Accidental Entrepreneurs more successful. I’ve taken the best material I could find on marketing and sales and translated it into teachings and tools that fit the values and resources of people who are more focused on the work they love than on being in business.

It’s good stuff, if I do say so myself, and it works.

So here’s what I’m going to do.

Pay what you can for The Goldilocks Strategy for Getting Clients that Fit just Right

This week, for 48 hours only, you can sign up for The Goldilocks Strategy for Getting Clients that Fit Just Right on a pay what you can basis.

The Goldilocks Strategy is a seven-part home study course supported by six monthly group coaching calls, six months of “break it down” emails to keep you engaged and supported, and six monthly videos expanding on key teachings.

This is almost certainly (never say never) the last time I offer Goldilocks with live coaching support, and I would love for everyone who wants to put this strategy to work in his or her business to have the opportunity without sweating the cost.

For 48 hours you choose the price

Between noon Pacific time on Tuesday, October 8, and noon Pacific time on Thursday, October 10, 2013, you decide what to pay based on what you can afford and the value you expect to realize.

How much should you pay? The average fee for the Goldilocks home study course over the past six years has been about $450. Personally, I’ve paid much more than that on programs and coaching to learn the things I teach in Goldilocks. And I’ve also been in the position of having very little to invest in growing a business.

I trust you to decide how much to pay based on where you are in your business, your resources, and the guidance of your heart.

The small print

There are some conditions on this offer in order to make it practical and sustainable. The primary ones are:

The offer runs from noon Pacific Daylight Time (USA) on Tuesday, October 8, through noon Thursday, October 10, 2013. No extensions or exceptions.

  • Why this works for you: Having a time limit motivates you to make a decision. If it’s right for you, go for it. If not, let it go.
  • Why this works for us: Having a time limit makes processing registrations more efficient.

In the unlikely event that it comes up, I reserve the right to decline payments that seem suspicious. This is about paying what you can, not getting something for nothing.

  • Why this works for you: Paying the amount that is right for you and that matches the value you expect to receive is the right thing to do.
  • Why this works for us: I’ve put seven years into developing and refining Goldilocks, and I want a reasonable return on my investment.

Please spread the word

Please do spread the word. I want as many people as possible to benefit from this opportunity. You can forward your friends and peers this ezine or send them directly to the web page. Just be sure to tell them that the opportunity goes away at noon PDT this Thursday.

I’ll keep reminding you

I’ll be nagging you a bit over the next two days so that, if you want this, it doesn’t fall off your radar. If you don’t want it, I beg your indulgence. The extra emails will go away after Thursday.

I hope you’ll stay around for the ride

I know many people who read this ezine have been with me since before I began to focus on self-employment. I think it’s safe to say you will find a lot to value in my emerging work.

And I hope that those of you who signed on for help with your businesses will hang around to see what comes next. I have a hunch that you will, and I’ll do my best to make it worth your while.

If there is one thing I know for sure, it is that the closer we look into the nature of the human experience, the more access we have to insight, creativity, and the confidence to play a bigger game in the best sense of the word.

Here’s to the next step on the journey.
