April 2016 Wholeness Hangout
Can understanding the mind help resolve persistent global challenges? (Part 1)
Since encountering the understanding widely known as The Three Principles, I’ve experienced a phenomenal increase in my personal wellbeing. As I’ve shared my understanding with clients, I’ve seen them experience greater wellbeing, more freedom, more peace, more resilience. At the same time, I’ve had a nagging question: How can insight into the nature of the human experience help us address the seemingly massive and irresolvable problems of the world?
As it turns out, some of my colleagues have been asking the same question. In fact, they’ve convened a conference in Oslo in May to dive headlong into this conversation. And I am thrilled to have two of the conveners of this conferences as my guests for the April Wholeness Hangout: Mara Gleason and Dr. George Pransky.
About Mara Gleason
Mara Gleason is the co-founder of NYC- and London-based company One Thought, which offers entrepreneurs, leaders and organizations a new understanding of the mind which brings about a new reality of working life. She is a sought-after international speaker, soon-to-be published author, and her clients have included Russian physicists, the tech ambassador to London, companies of all size like Microsoft, as well as the US Army, Marines, and the NHL. Everyone has a mind, and everything in life gets better when we learn how to use it more effectively.
Mara graduated with a Master’s degree from Columbia University. She currently lives in Brooklyn, Oslo and London.
About George Pranksy
In 1976, George Pransky and his wife and business partner Linda stumbled on a new way of helping people that was radically different from the traditional counseling methods they’d been using in their work. The new principles they were learning had a huge impact on their personal lives, their relationship and the way they worked with their clients. They began to teach these principles in their work and became pioneers in a new field of psychology that profoundly changed their clients in a short amount of time.
In 1978, George and Linda established a new practice in the San Francisco Bay area that eventually moved to the Pacific Northwest and is known today as Pransky and Associates.
George and Linda Pransky have worked with leaders, couples, teams and individuals from across the globe. Today, they are highly regarded for their ability to develop and train other practitioners teaching The Principles. Their vision is to provide training for like-minded professionals that would expand the community of people committed to doing this work. They have trained many of today’s best known teachers, counselors and coaches who work with these principles.

Thank you for everything you do to heal our world
My friend Bill Cumming likes to say that we can never know when the most important conversation in the world is taking place. That sounds right to me. Please know that I know that you care, and that your caring matters. In whatever ways you choose to participate in the evolution and healing of our planet, I want you to know that you matter. That on some level I see you. And that I honor you and appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.
