May 2016 Wholeness Hangout

Can understanding the mind help resolve persistent global challenges? (Part 2)

Wholeness Hangout Mandala

Since encountering the understanding widely known as The Three Principles, I’ve experienced a phenomenal increase in my personal wellbeing. As I’ve shared my understanding with clients, I’ve seen them experience greater wellbeing, more freedom, more peace, more resilience. At the same time, I’ve had a nagging question: How can insight into the nature of the human experience help us address the seemingly massive and irresolvable problems of the world?

As it turns out, some of my colleagues have been asking the same question. In fact, they’ve convened the One Solution conference in Oslo in May to dive headlong into this conversation. Last month my guests were two of the conveners of this conference, Mara Gleason and Dr. George Pransky. This month I am delighted to host two more organizers of the conference, Eirik Grunde-Olsen and Linda Pransky.

In this hangout, the three of us continued to explored how what happens on a personal level also happens on a global level and the implications of seeing that. Since we are in fact talking about Principles, the truth of how their effects are shown across the board from micro to macro will be fairly easy to show. Our challenge, however, is to introduce something that isn’t widely known, appreciated, or that is, at best, usually seen as a “small part of the puzzle.” In this conversation we make the case for how the Principles are not just a “part” of the solution, they are the ONLY solution to true sustainable change. This subtle shift from seeing the Three Principles as a “good idea” that the world should know about “someday” to a game changing truth that we can tell the world about NOW, has elevated our spirits into new possibilities, and we hope it will do the same to you.

NEW: You can now attend the Oslo Conference virtually via Livestream. Click here for tickets. Save $80 when you sign up by May 11.

About Eirik Grunde-Olsen

Eirik Grunde-Olsen Three Principles Teacher, Coach, PractitionerEirik became fascinated by the relationship between the mind and human capability after his experience in the Norwegian military and deployment in the Middle East.   After several years studying various mental practices and techniques, he came across a simpler understanding of the mind that proved to be the death of all tools, practices and techniques, and the birth of true transformation and insight.

After four years of working from this new understanding, he found that this approach could be applied to people and performance across all fields, from individual, to business to global.  Eirik is the founder of NorthMind, the largest Scandinavian company based in these principles of the mind.

Eirik invited some of his most trusted colleagues from around the world to collaborate with him in the creation of One Solution to see if it’s possible to bring a single answer to many of the world’s most complex problems.

About Linda PranksyLinda Pransky Three Principles teacher and practitioner

Linda Pransky went to graduate school at The University of Washington in 1975. She specialized in Psychosocial Nursing, because she had an interest in learning how people change. She learned techniques and approaches for helping people, but nothing seemed long-lasting and beneficial. When she met Sydney Banks in 1976 she saw a way for people to really change. Her vision became one of helping people seek real and long-lasting change.

Linda is currently on the executive committee of The Three Principles Community, faculty member for the One Thought Institute, and Partner at Pransky & Associates.

Linda and her husband, Dr. George Pransky, have worked with leaders, couples, teams, and individuals from across the globe. Today, they are highly regarded for their ability to develop and train other practitioners teaching The Principles. Their vision is to provide training for like-minded professionals that would expand the community of people committed to doing this work. They have trained many of today’s best known teachers, counselors, and coaches who work with these principles.
