Can an Insight Cure PTSD? One Woman’s Story

Wholeness Hangout MandalaOh my. I can’t wait for you to meet Mary Schiller, my guest for March. I’ve come across Mary a few times in Three Principles communities online, and I had the good fortune of having lunch with her at a recent event. I was deeply touched, not only by her story–which will knock your socks off–but by her presence. Mary is simply nice to be around. She has a grounded, calm, joyful demeanor that is contagious. You’d never guess that for 30 years she suffered extreme PTSD.

Below you’ll find a snippet of Mary’s story.
Mary Schiller in paris2Mary Schiller is a survivor of domestic violence and rape who dealt with 30 years of PTSD. She tried every therapy and technique she could find–to no avail. In 2014, she had a nearly instantaneous healing from her symptoms when she looked in the direction of the Three Principles. As a Principles-based coach, Mary often uses her own story to teach people this simple truth: no matter how far away from mental health someone might seem, they’re really just one thought away from experiencing their innate well-being.

You can learn more about Mary at thedailyprinciples.com.

Resources for Deeper Insight into the Three Principles

The first book listed is the one that catalyzed Mary’s insight. It and the second book are good introductions to the Three Principles. They are followed by books written by Sydney Banks, whose awakening was the basis for The Three Principles. After Syd’s books, you’ll find a selection of books by his students.
