Join me for a reflective exploration of what makes coaching work (when it does), what makes it different from other modalities (when it is), and–most of all–what coaching reveals about being human and how we can more fully collaborate with the intelligence emergent in life to live wisely and well. Without a Net is a series of live and unrehearsed coaching sessions followed by group reflection and discussion of coaching principles, practices, and competencies.
A rare combination...
Molly coaches with the rigor of the ICF mastery standards as well as a firm grounding on the 3 Principles Understanding. This is rare to find and extremely helpful – both for people interested in the skill and expertise of coaching and for those wanting to base their work in the 3 Principles.M. Perez

"It felt like a gift to myself."
The thing I most loved about Without a Net was that it felt like a gift to myself. Like many coaches, I often forget to carve out time for myself. Choosing Without a Net gave me a spacious time to listen to someone else coach, reflect together with colleagues, and take away some learnings to apply in my own coaching of clients.
- See how unique each of us is in how we listen, and what we hear (A reminder that there is no single “right” path in a coaching session; instead there are many paths to choose from in the moment with your client)
- Hear from the person being coached what was valuable to them, and recognizing that it wasn’t always what I would have expected. (A reminder the client is the expert on themselves)
- Appreciate the complementary roles of Structure and Flexibility in a coaching session (Setting the agreement well tells you where you are headed together AND at any moment that could shift based on what the client is learning about themselves.)
Without a Net was a wonderful use of my time, and I left each session feeling enlightened and energized.
My coaching and mentor coaching qualifications
I’ve been a coach in private practice since 1996. I graduated from both The Academy for Coach Training (now inviteCHANGE) Certified Professional Coach program and The Newfield Network’s Graduate Coaching program. Over the years I have completed numerous additional coaching-specific trainings totaling more than 500 hours.
I have been an ICF Master Certified Coach since 2002. Since then I have been an assessor for the ICF’s credentialing program. I am a past member of the ICF credentialing committee and was responsible for training assessors for Associate Certified Coach (ACC) exams. I am a graduate of the inviteCHANGE Mentor Coach Certification Program, which is based on the most current International Coach Federation (ICF) standards and practices for credentialing.
I am also experienced in developing coaches. I’ve presented at numerous International Coach Federation (ICF) international and regional conferences. I co-created The Empowerment Dynamic (TED) for Coaches with David Emerald and Bert Parlee, Ph.D. I’m currently an instructor in the University of Miami Coaching Certificate Program and on the faculty of ClientWise, Coach Masters Academy, and 7 Paths Forward.
In 2010 I encountered the teachings of Sydney Banks, widely known as “the Three Principles.” I recognized in Syd’s teachings fundamental psycho-spiritual truths about the inherent wholeness, resilience, creativity, and resourcefulness of human beings that have a profound impact on coaching. I have trained with Pransky & Associates and One Thought and am a registered Principles Practitioner. am deeply committed to coaching from this foundation and especially keen to support coaches who are trained in the ICF Core Coaching Competencies to partner with universal wisdom and intelligence in the service of their clients.
